With nearly 12,000 residents and roughly 2,000 square miles, Morrow County spans from the vibrant Columbia River to the majestic Blue Mountains. Agriculture and industry are supported by river access via the Port of Morrow, as well as Interstate 84 and the rail lines. Agriculture and livestock remain major factors in the county, joined by power generation and technology.
The Columbia River offers fishing and other river recreation activities. Hunting, hiking, and camping are available in the national forests. Snowmobile routes and an OHV park add to the possibilities. Events include the Morrow County Fair and St. Patrick’s Wee Bit O’ Ireland.
